Any websites, last-minute, or in general that would offer good deals this close to travel?
I usually find the best deals on expedia.com . You might have just left it for too late... You might check bestfares.com but be aware their prices don't include taxes so they look better than they are and for some fares you have to purchase a year long membership to the travel club. They are legit though. I was a member for years. Just decided that I wasn't saving enough to justify the fees.
Also check nearby airports if you are close enough. I sometimes save $100 by flying out of an airport that is 70 miles from my "usual" airport.

Just visit the airline websites – sometimes they have last minute deals. Lesson learned–book your tickets weeks in advace.

Check Jetblue and Southwest as they are not always listed in the big search engines. Jetblue has had some really great fares recently. Also think about leaving a day early or very early Friday morning. I think that Airtran has had some good prices too.

Doesn’t priceline.com do airline tickets now? I get major travel deals through them for car rental and hotel stays. Otherwise, see if you can get a deal on lastminutetravel.com. Good luck!
